IOCL Recruitment 2020: Engineers and Technicians can Apply Online for 500 Apprentice Positions

IOCL recruitment 2020 is currently being conducted for 500 apprentice vacancies in several states such as Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa and UT of Dadra and Nagar Haveli. Out of the 500 vacancies, 265 vacancies are of technician apprentice for which engineers can apply. Selected candidates will also be paid a stipend as allowed by rules.

Who can Apply for IOCL Recruitment 2020?

According to the official notification issued on the IOCL website, there are 500 apprentice positions of which 265 are of technician apprentice, and the remaining are of trade apprentice. For the technician apprentice positions candidates need to have 3 years diploma in engineering from a recognized institute or university with minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate for general and OBC candidates, and 45% in case of SC/ST candidates against reserved positions in the following streams: Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, Instrumentation engineering, Civil engineering, -Electrical and Electronics engineering, and Electronics engineering.

For the trade apprentice positions, candidates are required to have a regular full time ITI recognized by NCVT or SCVT in streams such as fitter, electrician, electronics mechanic, machinist and so on. There are also trade apprentice accountant and trade apprentice data entry operator vacancies.

How to Apply for IOCL Recruitment 2020?

Interested and eligible candidates need to apply online on the official IOCL website. Selection of the candidates will be based on the performance of the candidates on the basis of marks obtained by them in the written test (Duration 90 Minutes) that will be conducted and meeting notified eligibility criteria. The last date of submission of online application is 20 March 2020, and the tentative date of written test is 29 March 2020.
