IOCL Recruitment 2020: Engineers can Apply for Officers and Graduate Apprentice Vacancies, Salary Rs 50,000

IOCL Recruitment 2020 will soon be conducted for Engineers/Officers and Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs) vacancies for which online applications are being accepted as of now. Engineers will be selected for the vacancies based on the GATE 2020 scores. Those selected for the Engineers/Officers posts will be eligible for a base pay of Rs 50,000.

Who can Apply for IOCL Recruitment 2020?

According to the official IOCL Recruitment 2020 notification, candidates who have a BE or BTech engineering degree in the following streams can apply for the posts: Chemical engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering.

The notification mentions that candidates currently in the final year of their engineering studies may also apply. However, if selected, they should be in a position to submit their final mark sheet by 31 August 2020.

In addition to Engineers/Officers, a few candidates from the above-mentioned disciplines will also be engaged as Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs) in line with the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. GAEs are will be offered a monthly stipend for a period of one year and upon satisfactory performance during the apprenticeship period, they may be absorbed in IOCL, adds the notification.

Interested and eligible candidates need to apply online on the official IOCL website until 6 May 2020. There is no online application fee involved. Candidates must have a valid email id and mobile number, both active for a minimum of one year from the date of registration, and all communications to the candidate will be sent through these channels. Apart from other documents, candidates must have their GATE 2020 registration and marks card ready at the time of applying.
