Achieved 50% growth in spite of slowdown in the United States market 30% of revenues from annuity-based business of outsourcing mission-critical applications

In 2002-03, Intelligroup Asia–a subsidiary of Intelligroup Inc.–registered
a marginal fall in growth rate, which was at 53% in the previous year. What
helped it through a tough year was the fact that it was one of the first to
start offshore outsourcing of mission critical applications. Besides, the
company recently forayed into the products market with Offstar (Off*), a product
that integrates SAP with MS office. Net margins grew by 40% and that saved the
day.
