Instagram Down Say Android Users, Report Constant Crashing of the App

Instagram down trends on Twitter as the users of the popular social media app flood to report the problem. The app is reportedly crashing constantly for Android users, and it seems to be a global issue. The problem, which seems to have started a few hours ago, still persists say users who are unable to use the app.

“Instagram is crashing. Not working my any account,” says a user Raaz on Twitter. “Updated Instagram app, and rebooted twice thinking it's the phone issue. Just saw the Twitter trend Instagram Down,” says Ammar Kanchawala.

“Instagram down again. Why Instagram Why? Last 10 Days My Instagram Reels Section is not working Properly, When I Upload A video, Instagram app closed. Please look into this” says another user. “Hey Instagram, my Instagram application stops while running it couldn't run more than 20 seconds. I am having worst experience please fix it ASAP. It is showing notification like this,” says a Twitter Users called OnlyFan Designer while sharing the following screenshot.

However, there is no official response from Instagram so far on the issue. Instagram is an American photo and video sharing social networking service owned by Facebook, created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger and originally launched on iOS in October 2010.

Instagram's users are divided equally with 50% iPhone owners and 50% Android owners. While Instagram has a neutral gender-bias format, 68% of Instagram users are female while 32% are male, according to Wikipedia. Instagram is extremely popular among the younger generation with 90% of the 150 million users under the age of 35.
