INOX goes digital in a big way; introduces paperless tickets and QR codes

INOX Leisure Limited (INOX), one of India’s largest multiplex chains with 97 multiplexes, 377 screens spread across 52 cities, has introduced a series of initiatives that will allow consumers to book paperless tickets through the website/app and ticketing aggregators. A QR code will be generated and these codes can be scanned at the cinema entrance. Customers can take their pre-selected seats without any ticket receipts. Through this initiative, INOX aims at making movie watching a hassle free experience.

INOX in association with BRENZY has introduced an application that provides movie goers with real time information on films, special offers and discounts that one can avail at INOX through a one-time download of the application ‘BRENZY’ on the IoS and Google Play Store.

Commenting on these initiatives, Alok Tandon, Chief Executive Officer, INOX Leisure said, “This will be the first time that a movie-goer will get to experience the most technologically advanced engagement anywhere in India. We are excited to be able to create more opportunities in the entertainment space for our patrons. At INOX we continue to find new ways and emerging technologies to enhance the movie going experience of our guests.”
