Infosys Sets its Sights on Nordic Region with a New Proximity Centre in Oslo

Infosys, the global digital service provider and consultancy announced a new proximity centre in Oslo, Norway on the 7 June 2023. The new proximity centre is part of its expansion plan in the Nordic region. Infosys already has offices in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Sweden and Norway. And, this new centre will further establish opportunities for Infoays to foster closer partnerships with its regional consumers.

Infosys is a globally leading tech giant which deals in digital services and consulting. Infosys has expanded to more than 50 countries on the globe with its global digital transformation initiative. Infosys has been providing incredible services across the globe by giving comprehensive portfolio services, strategic consultancy, technological services and many more.

The new proximity centre is being built at the heart of Oslo in its city centre upon recent investments by Infosys in collaboration with the Kefdal Mine Datacenter in Norway, Fluido in Finland, and BASE Life Science in Denmark. With this plan of further expansion and investment to create a strong presence in the Nordic market Infosys is aiming to be the key driver of the market. 

 The centre will work as a hub for nurturing and upskilling local talents in skills and technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), 5G, and software engineering. The centre in Oslo will be a gateway for Infosys to create a strategic partnership with regional clients which includes names such as Telenor, a global telecommunication company and DNB ASA which is the largest bank in Norway. The decision is pretty likely to serve benefits to Infosys to advance its digital transformation in the Nordic region. This partnership will enable Infosys to deliver innovative solutions and pave the path for sustainable growth.
