Infosys has announced the appointment of Helene Auriol Potier as an Independent Director of the company. The appointment, effective from 26 May 2023, follows the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee of the Infosys Board and is subject to shareholder approval. Helene Auriol Potier brings a wealth of experience in digital technologies and the telecommunications industry, having worked in various senior leadership positions across multiple geographies.
Starting her career in New York in 1986, Helene Auriol Potier has held prominent roles in renowned organizations. She spent 15 years at Nortel Networks Corporation, a Canadian mobile technology company, where she held positions such as Vice President Sales Mobile Division Worldwide and Vice President Services & Operations EMEA. In 2005, she joined Dell Inc. as the CEO for Africa, Mediterranean, and CEE regions. Helene further served at Microsoft Corporation for a decade, where she held various senior leadership capacities, including CEO Microsoft Singapore and Managing Director Artificial Intelligence Europe.
Helene Auriol Potier's impressive career also includes her role as Executive Vice-President in charge of International Business B2B for Orange from November 2018 to December 2020. She has served as an independent director on the boards of Mimecast Limited, Ispen SA, and Faiveley Transport SA, and currently serves as an independent non-executive director on the boards of Safran SA, Accor SA, Randstad NV, and Oddo BHF SCA. Helene is actively involved in the field of corporate governance and ESG, and holds positions such as chair of the Accor board ESG committee and Oddo BHF board compensation committee. She is also an ESG co-chair and board member at the French association of corporate directors, Institut Français des Administrateurs (IFA), and a senior advisor at a leading global private equity firm.
