The Indian Navy is inviting applications from unmarried men & women candidates for the grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Information Technology (Executive Branch) of the Indian Navy under the Special Naval Orientation Course commencing January 2024 onwards at the Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala. Who can apply for Indian Navy SSC IT recruitment?

Applications for recruitment are invited from both men and women. Candidates aspiring to apply for it must be unmarried and have been born between January 2, 1999, and July 1, 2004. What is the selection process for Indian Navy SSC IT recruitment?

The selection procedure for the recruitment of an SSC in IT involves several steps designed to identify the best candidates. The selection procedure completes in the following steps

Initially, the candidates will be shortlisted based on their normalized marks obtained by candidates in their qualifying degrees. Shortlisted candidates will be called for SSB interviews where candidates' aptitude, personality, and potential will be assessed. Selected candidates will be granted Short Service Commission initially for 10 years, which can be extended by a maximum of 4 years. The candidates require to maintain an unmarried status during their training period. AS if any candidate found to be married or marrying during training will be discharged from the service.
