IIT Tirupati Invites Online Applications from Engineers and Technicians for Various Posts, Salary up to Rs 2,08,700

IIT Tirupati, an Institute of national importance, has issued on its website an IIT recruitment 2019 notification apprising of 38 staff vacancies at the institute. Of the 38 vacancies available at the Indian Institute of Technology, there are various positions available for engineers and technicians and selected candidates would be eligible for a maximum salary of Rs 2,08,700.

Who can Apply for the IIT Tirupati Recruitment?

As per the official notification issued on the IIT Tirupati website, there is one vacancy for Executive Engineer (Civil) for candidates with a BE/BTech in Civil Engineering with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognised University or Institution with 8 years experience in the grade of Assistant Executive Engineer. Selected candidate cannot be over 50 years of age, and would be eligible for a salary of Rs s 67,700 to 2,08,700.

There is one vacancy for Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) for candidates with a BE/BTech in Civil Engineering branch with 55% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognised University or Institution with 8 years experience or ME/MTech in Civil Engineering branch with 55% marks or equivalent with 5 years experience. The selected candidate would be eligible for a pay of Rs 56,100 to 1,77,500.

Another vacancy for engineers is for the post of Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical) for candidates with a BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering branch with 55% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognised University or Institution with 8 years experience or ME/MTech in Electrical Engineering branch with 55% marks with 5 years experience. Selected candidates would be eligible for a salary of Rs 56,100 to 1,77,500.

There are also 7 Junior Technical Superintendent positions for candidates with a BE or BTech in chemical engineering, computer science, or electrical streams. Selected candidates would be eligible for a salary of Rs 35,400 to 1,12,400.

There are also 8 Technician posts for candidates with ITI or diploma in the relevant fields. Senior technician would be eligible for a salary of Rs 29,200 to 92,300 and Junior Technicians for a salary of Rs 21,700 to 69,100.

Interested and eligible candidates need to apply only on the official IIT Tirupati website, and only online applications will be accepted. Candidates can apply online until 31 July 2019. An online application fee Rs 200 needs to be made; however, women candidates, candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-servicemen and persons with disabilities (PwD) are exempted from payment of Application Fee provided they upload the proof such as SC/ST/PwD/Aadhar Card/ PPO/Discharge certificates, etc along with other documents at the time of filling up of online application.
