IIT Recruitment 2020: Online Applications Invited from Graduates for 18 Vacancies, Salary up to Rs 69,100

IIT recruitment 2020 is currently underway at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) for 18 junior assistant vacancies. The vacancies are non-technical in nature and selected candidates will be engaged in the administration department. Those selected would be eligible for a salary of Level 3 of Pay Matrix as per the seventh CPC, which amounts to Rs 21,700 to 69,100.

Who can Apply for IIT Recruitment 2020?

The official notification issued on the IIT Delhi website says that there are a total of 18 junior assistant vacancies for which candidates with a Bachelors Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute with at least 55% marks can apply. Applicants must be proficient in the use of several computer office applications like MS Word, Excel, Power-point, or equivalent.

Furthermore, the candidate must have one year of relevant experience and must have a typing speed of 40 words per minute and 35 words per minute in English and Hindi, respectively, on the computer. In addition to the matrix as per seventh CPC as mentioned against each post, the posts carry the usual allowances at par with those admissible under IIT Delhi rules in the corresponding pay matrix, says the notification.

How to Apply for IIT Recruitment 2020?

Candidates, after reading the requisite minimum essential qualifications, age and eligibility, experience, and criteria laid down in the advertisement can apply online on the IIT Delhi website before 27 November 2020 at 5 PM IST. There is an online application fee of RS 200 that needs to be paid through the recruitment portal payment gateway.
