IIT Recruitment 2020: Online Applications Invited for 6 Staff Vacancies, Salary up to Rs 1,77,500

IIT Recruitment 2020 is currently being conducted at the Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad (IIT Palakkad) for multiple staff vacancies. IIT Palakkad, which was the earliest among the third group of IITs, started functioning from the academic year of 2015-16. Candidates can apply for the vacancies online, and those selected will be eligible for a salary up to Rs 1,77,500.

Who Can Apply for IIT Recruitment 2020?

According to the official notification issued on the IIT Palakkad website, there are 6 vacancies and the details regarding the same are as follows:

1. One Vacancy is of Assistant Registrar for which candidates with a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade on a point scale with an excellent academic record and relevant experience can apply. Selected candidates will be eligible for a salary of up to Rs 1,77,500.
2. Two vacancies are of Junior Technical Superintendent for which candidates with a BE, BTech, MSc, or MCA in Computer Science and Engineering and Electrical Engineering can apply. Selected candidates will be eligible for a salary of up to Rs 1,12,400
3. Two vacancies are for Junior Technician for which candidates with a Three-year Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry can apply. Selected candidates will be eligible for a salary of up to Rs 69,100.
4. One vacancy is for Junior Assistant for which candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science or Humanities including Commerce with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University or Institute with knowledge of computer operations can apply. Selected candidates will be eligible for a salary of up to Rs 69,100.

How to Apply for IIT Recruitment 2020?

Interested and eligible candidates need to apply online on the official IIT Palakkad website before 15 May 2020. There is also an online application fee of Rs 100 that needs to be made. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD and women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
