IIT recruitment 2020 is being conducted at present for various project positions at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi). One such project is being funded by the Defence Research Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence for which engineers and postgraduates can apply. Selected candidates will be engaged on a contractual basis, and will be eligible for a monthly stipend of up to Rs 44,000.
Who Can Apply for IIT Recruitment 2020?
The notification available on the IIT Delhi website says that there are two vacancies under the project titled “Mechanical Behaviour of Light Weight Materials Under Different Rates of Dynamics Loading”. Candidates will be engaged on contractual basis with consolidated pay, renewable yearly or up to the duration of the project, whichever is earlier.
One post is for Project Associate for which candidates with a BTech, MSc or MCA or equivalent in the appropriate discipline can apply. Another post is for Senior Project Assistant for which candidates with a master’s degree in science or technology such as MSc, MCA or equivalent or BTech degree in computer or software related field can apply. Those who wish to apply are also required to have two years or more experience in PHP, JAVA, SQL, HTML, CSS along with knowledge of Microsoft Office suites (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), photo editing softwares like Photoshop and GIMP, and so on.
Candidates are also expected to work as a team and maintain good professional relationships with others while helping in conducting project-related activities. Shortlisted candidates will be informed and selected through an online test or interview.
