IIT recruitment 2020 is at present being conducted at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi for 11 vacancies for a project titled Development of Improved Furnaces for Handtool Clusters in Jalandhar and Nagaur. There are ten vacancies for junior project attendants, and one vacancy for senior project assistant. Selected candidates will be engaged on a contractual basis, which is renewable yearly or up to the duration of the project, whichever is earlier. Candidates selected for junior project attendant vacancies will be paid a salary of up to Rs 25,400 and the candidate selected for the senior project assistant vacancy will be paid a salary of up to Rs 50,000.
Who can Apply for IIT Recruitment 2020 at IIT Delhi?
As mentioned earlier, there are a total of 11 vacancies available at IIT Delhi at present. For the ten junior project attendant vacancies, candidates who have passed the tenth standard along with experience in field-oriented projects on cookstoves, furnaces and gasifiers can apply.
For the senior project assistant vacancy, candidates with a BE or BTech in mechanical engineering or related branch with good knowledge and capability for using CFD simulation package ANSYS Fluent can apply. It is desirable for applicants to have experience with thermodynamic and CFD modelling of furnaces, design calculations and so on, says the notification.

Interested and eligible candidates will have to apply by downloading form number IRD/REC-4 from the IRD website of IIT Delhi and submitting the duly filled form with complete information regarding educational qualifications indicating the percentage of marks, work experience and so on by e-mail with the advertisement number on the subject line to Prof MR Ravi on ravimr@mech.iitd.ac.in before 26 November 2020.
