IIT Recruitment 2020: Applications Invited for 6 Project Vacancies at IIT Delhi, Salary up to Rs 63,400

IIT recruitment 2020 is being conducted at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) for six project vacancies for which engineers and technicians can apply. The vacancies are available in the Department of Physics of the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi under a project titled “Operational Expenses for Central Research Facilities”. Selected candidates will be eligible for a salary of up to Rs 63,400.

Who can Apply for IIT Recruitment 2020 at IIT Delhi?

The notification issued of the IIT Delhi website says that candidates with the following qualifications can apply against the relevant vacancies:

• There is one senior project scientist vacancy for which candidates with a first-class MTech, ME or MDes or equivalent with at least 2 years hands-on experience or first-class BTech, BE, BE, BDes or equivalent with at least 4 years hands-on experience in mechatronics based design and fabrication or functional prototyping with digital fabrication techniques can apply.
• There is one project assistant vacancy for which candidates with ITI of two years duration in any Mechanical, Electronics or Electrical related trade with at least 8 years of experience or diploma of 3 years duration or Graduate Degree in any Mechanical, Electronics or Electrical related trade with at least 2 years of experience in functional prototyping can apply.
• There is one project scientist vacancy for which candidates with a first-class BE or BTech in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering. Discipline with GATE qualification can apply.
• There is one project assistant vacancy for which candidates with ITI of two years duration with 8 years of experience in CNC turning, milling or laser cutting can apply.
• There is one senior project scientist vacancy for which candidates with a first-class MTech with exposure to Laser cutting or CNC machining can apply.
• There is one project attendant vacancy for which 12th class passed candidates with at least 3 years of experience in Electronics based functional prototyping can apply.
