IIT Recruitment 2019: Electrical Engineers can Apply for Project Associate Position at IIT Mandi

IIT recruitment 2019 for engineers is being conducted at the Indian Institute of Technology Mandi (IIT Mandi) for the position of project associate. The recruitment will be conducted through a walk-in-interview and the selected candidate will be eligible for a salary of Rs 12,500 to 15,000 based on their experience.

Who can Apply for the IIT Recruitment 2019?

As per the notification issued on the IIT Mandi website, candidates with a BE or BTech in electrical or electronics degree can apply for the post of Project Associate. The project is titled “A Low Cost High Efficiency Renewable Energy Based Hybrid Power Conversion System for Rural Himanchal Residential Application” and candidates with experience in hands-on experience with micro-controllers and digital signal processing, familiarity with MATLAB and Simulink, good command over English language and technical writing, and so on. Some of the responsibilities of the selected candidate include programming of micro-controller for control and implementation of

power electronic converters in hybrid power conversion system.

Candidates with the above-mentioned qualifications need to send a detailed email with bio-data, CV, and GATE qualifications to narasaiitm@gmail.com by 18 August 2019. Although the nature of the post is purely temporary, candidate serving Project Associate position can be considered for MS/PhD admissions if they meet all the requirements of IIT Mandi MS/PhD selection process as per the institute norms. Selected candidates will be informed of the walk-in-interview date via email. Candidates can also state if they can attend the interview in person or via Skype in their applications. The upper age limit of the candidate should be less than 30 years. Furthermore, all original documents need to be produced at the time of the interview.
