IIT Madras Invites Online Applications for Executive MBA Program: Check Details

IIT Madras is currently accepting online applications for its executive MBA program, for which graduates can apply. The course duration 24 months, and consists of 8 quarters. Classes will be conducted on weekends. The curriculum will be rigorous yet practice-oriented including 3 projects that apply theory to live business problems, says IIT Madras.

The Department of Management Studies (DoMS) of the Indian Institute of Technology Madras will conduct the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA). The institute says that upon successfully completing the course, professionals will be equipped with a deep functional and broad industrial domain knowledge.

Who can Apply for IIT Madras Executive MBA Program and How

Candidates with a first-class or 60% and above in Bachelor's degree from any discipline along with three years of work experience as of 31 December 2020 can apply for the course. The last date to submit online applications for the program is 18 October 2020 11:59 pm. Candidates will be selected based on application data, video case study test and performance in personal interview, which will be conducted through virtual mode.

The virtual test and interview will be conducted from 7 to 9 November 2020. The classes will commence in January 2021. The online application fee is Rs 1500, and the course will cost Rs 13 lakhs, which can be paid in four installments of Rs 3.25 lakhs per semester at the beginning of each semester. Students also have an option to take a loan from the Institute’s partner Bank of Baroda. Furthermore, a few seats are available for company-sponsored candidates who are required to produce sponsorship letters in the prescribed format from their respective employers.
