IIT Madras has invited applications for 15 new project vacancies for which applications will be accepted until 14 November 2021
IIT Madras has invited applications from eligible candidates for temporary positions of project associate, project officer and junior technician for the project titled “Indian Nano electronics Users Programme -Idea to Innovation” available at its Department of Electrical Engineering. The selected candidates will be engaged for a period of one year, which may be extended based on their performance. Those selected will be paid a monthly salary of up to Rs 1,00,000 based on their qualification and experience.
Who Can Apply for IIT Madras Recruitment?
The latest notification issued on the IIT Madras website says that there are a total of 15 vacancies for which candidates with the following qualifications can apply:
- There are two project associate vacancies for which candidates with a BTech, BE, AMIE or Master’s Degree in electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, mechanical, materials or physics with 60% or 6.5 CGPA and above with two years of experience or MTech, ME or MS in electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, mechanical, materials or physics with 60% or 6.5 CGPA or PhD in engineering in in electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, mechanical, materials or physics can apply.
- There are 5 project associate vacancies for which candidates with a BTech, BE, AMIE or Master’s Degree in electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, mechanical, materials or physics with 60% or 6.5 CGPA and above with GATE qualification can apply.
- There are 8 junior technician vacancies for which candidates with an ITI certificate or diploma in electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, mechanical, materials or physics can apply.

Interested and eligible candidates will have to submit applications before 14 November 2021 on the IIT Madras website. Applicants should not attempt to submit multiple applications for the same post as this could lead to rejection of applications says IIT Madras.
