IIT Kharagpur Invites Applications for Online Course on Data Analytics with Certificate

IIT Kharagpur has invited applications from interested candidates to take an online course on Introduction to R Programming and Data Analytics. The short-term course will be conducted by the Vinod Gupta School of Management (VGSOM) of the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate from VGSOM and IIT Kharagpur.

Professor Swagato Chatterjee of the Vinod Gupta School of Management is the principal coordinator of the course, and faculty from IIT Kharagpur will deliver lectures. The program aims at teaching the participants hands on usage of R programming, data analytics skills, and d its applications in real-world situations.

Who Can Take the IIT Kharagpur Online Course on Data Analytics?

The course is best suited for at least first year engineering students as well as pass-outs, teachers, scientific officers, instructors, technical assistants, persons from industries, and working professionals. The online course on data analytics, which begins on 7 November 2020, will be conducted on weekends for 3 hours on Saturdays and Sundays until 27 November 2020. The course offers 15 hours of interactive training.

The methods consist of lecture sessions, hands-on-exercises, discussion on cases and live problems. The last date to register for the course would be 1 November 2020, and it would cost students Rs 6000 and all others would have to pay Rs 8000.
