IIT Kharagpur Invites Applications for 8 Research Consultant Vacancies, Salary up to Rs 50,000

IIT Kharagpur is currently accepting applications from engineers for 8 research consultant vacancies available in a project titled “Development of Secured Hardware and Automotive Systems (DSY)”. The vacancies are available in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. Those selected will be paid a monthly salary of up to Rs 50,000 depending upon their qualification and experience.

Who Can Apply for IIT Kharagpur Recruitment?

The notification from IIT Kharagpur says that there are 8 research consultant vacancies for which candidates with an MTech with 3 years experience or BTech with 5 years experience in the area of computer science, electrical, electronics or instrumentation engineering can apply. Applicants will be expected to perform cutting-edge research in the domain of hardware and automotive security.

The selected candidates will be expected to collaborate with internal scientists and the industries working in the relevant area. Furthermore, the candidate must be interested to pursue MS or PhD at IIT Kharagpur. The candidate’s academic background should be excellent with minimum marks obtained more than 75% in Class 12 and under graduation and post-graduation qualifying examinations, says the notification. Applicants should not be more than 35 years old.

Interested and eligible candidates will have to submit applications on the official website before 6 September 2021. An online application fee of Rs 100 will also have to be paid. However, female candidates are exempted from making the payment.
