IIT Kharagpur is currently accepting applications from eligible candidates for 10 professional or industrial trainee vacancies. The positions are available at the finance and accounts section of the Indian Institute of Kharagpur. Selected trainees will be required to work for 8 hours a day, for 6 hours a week, and they will be engaged to work in areas related to finance and accounts under the supervision of officers at the institute. Those selected will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs 15,000

Who Can Apply for Industrial Trainee Vacancies at IIT Kharagpur?

The notification available on the IIT Kharagpur website says that the positions are open for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in commerce (BCom) with Intermediate Level Certificate from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or the Institute of Cost Accountants of India within the first three attempts (nonappearance will be considered as an attempt).

Applicants should not be over 25 years of age as of the last date of the submission of applications. Trainees may also be given shared and unfurnished accommodation subject to availability. License fee, water charges, electricity charges and charges for any other services rendered will be recovered as per Institute rules, says the notification.

How to Apply for Industrial Trainee Vacancies at IIT Kharagpur?

Candidates who are eligible to apply for the vacancies need to first submit online applications on the official website before 25 June 2021. After submitting online applications, applicants will then have to send a signed hard cope of the online application to Deputy Registrar, E-III, Indian Institute of Kharagpur 721302 West Bengal before 30 June 2021. Applications of those who do not submit hard copies will be rejected says the institute. Applicants are advised to go through the official notification in detail prior to submitting applications.
