IIT Internship 2020: Online Applications Invited for Summer Internship at IIT Mandi, Stipend Rs 10,000

IIT internship 2020 will soon be conducted at the Indian Institute of Technology Mandi for the summer internship program. IIT Mandi will conduct the summer internship for a period of 8 weeks in May or June. Selected interns will be paid a stipend of Rs 10,000 for the entire period of 8 weeks. However, the travel and living expenses should be borne by the intern.

Who can Apply for IIT Internship 2020 at IIT Mandi?

According to the official notification available on the IIT Mandi website, second-year BE or Btech and first-year postgraduate or Master’s students can apply for the summer internship program. Only students who have a minimum CGPA of 7.5, 10 or equivalent percentage of marks will be considered for the IIT internship 2020.

Projects Available for IIT Internship 2020 at IIT Mandi

Selected students would be expected to work under the mentorship of IIT Mandi faculty members in the following areas: Wireless networks and IoT, thermal management of microelectronics, structural mechanics, solid mechanics; mechanical design; biomechanics, semiconductor devices, RF and microwave propagation and device design, power electronic applications, protein folding and aggregation, biomedical engineering, controllability of differential equations with applications in engineering and fluid-solid interaction problems, computational fluid dynamics, deep Learning application in biometrics and medical imaging, and many more such subjects.

How to Apply for IIT Internship 2020 at IITR?

Interested and eligible candidates need to first register with the dedicated portal for the IIT internship 2020 at IIT Mandi. The screening of interns will be done by the faculty members based on the credentials of applicants. Selected candidates will be informed via email and will have to arrange letters of recommendation from their Institute. The tentative dates for the submission of the application form are 10 to 30 April 2020. The summer internship program would be expected to begin on 11 June 2020.
