IIT Hyderabad i-TIC Foundation and the National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) are inviting applications from individuals for the NICE Fellowship Program. NMDC Innovation and Incubation Centre (NICE) is a joint initiative by i-TIC Foundation of the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad and NMDC, which aims at supporting deep tech entrepreneurs by providing them incubation and fellowship support.
The program, which offers the opportunity to entrepreneurs who are passionate about working on the deep tech startup idea, is designed to provide all the necessary support for starting a new business venture, says the official website. Candidates selected for the fellowship program would receive a monthly stipend of up to Rs 80,000 for one year for sustenance and prototype development.
Who can Apply for NICE Fellowship Program by IIT Hyderabad and NMDC?
Candidates who have disruptive, unique and innovative ideas on deep technology along with the following qualities can apply for the NICE Fellowship Program:
- Candidates must be citizens of India.
- Applicants’ age must be between 18 and 35 years.
- They must be graduates preferably from an engineering, medical or science background.
- Must be willing to work full-time with no other predictable source of income.
