IIT Hyderabad Invites Applications for Research Fellowships, Salary Rs 55,000

IIT Hyderabad has invited applications from interested candidates for one year for post-doctoral research fellowship vacancies available at the Technology Innovation Hub on Autonomous Navigation of the institute. Selected candidates will be engaged for a period of one year, which may be extended subject to performance. Candidates will be expected to co-ordinate the work with the team, and will also have to work on report preparation and lab management. Those selected will be paid a monthly salary of Rs 55,000.

Who Can Apply for IIT Hyderabad Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship?

The research fellowship vacancies are open to candidates with a PhD with BE, BTech, MSc, or equivalent in computer science engineering, electronics and communication engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, mechanical and aerospace engineering, or electrical engineering with relevant research or industrial experience and publication in standard journals will have added advantage. Candidates who have submitted their thesis and are waiting for thesis defense may also apply.

Some of the areas of research include:

• Autonomous navigation.
• Communication and networking, V2X, and connected vehicles.
• ADAS functions.
• Autonomous vehicles.
• Artificial intelligence or machine learning.
• Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
• Remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), and so on.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on the eligibility criteria, academic record and relevant experience. Only, shortlisted candidates will be intimated through email for the interview by the selection committee.

The position will be left vacant and a new advertisement with an extended date will be given if no suitable candidate is found, says IIT Hyderabad. Even freshers with one or two years of experience may apply.
