IIT Hyderabad Invites Applications for Junior Research Fellow Vacancy, Stipend Rs 31,000

IIT Hyderabad has invited applications for Junior Research Fellow vacancy available at Technology Innovation Hub on Autonomous Navigation

IIT Hyderabad is currently accepting applications from eligible and interested candidates for Junior Research Fellow vacancy available at the Technology Innovation Hub on Autonomous Navigation (TiHAN) of the institute. The vacancy is available at the Transportation Systems Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering of IIT Hyderabad, and selected candidates will be engaged for a period of one year, which may be extended. Freshers with one to two years of experience may apply for the post, and those selected will be paid a monthly salary of Rs 31,000.

Who Can Apply for IIT Hyderabad Junior Research Fellowship?

The official notification says that candidates with a BTech or BE in civil engineering or computer science, or MTech or ME in transportation systems engineering or computer science may apply for the vacancy. This position is a part of IIT Hyderabad’s highly interdisciplinary collaborative project on autonomous navigation and data acquisition systems. Therefore, the candidate will need to employ their skills on data collection or extraction and analysis for level 2 AVs for safety performance evaluation. Some of the domains of interest include:

• Transportation modelling.
• Traffic operations and traffic flow theory.
• Smart mobility.
• Data analytics.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on the eligibility criteria, academic record and relevant experience, and will be intimated through email for the interview by the selection committee.
