IIT Hyderabad is seeking applications from experienced engineers for vacancies available in its newly launched Technology Innovation Hub on Autonomous Navigation Systems (TiHAN), which is a testbed for unmanned aerial vehicles and remotely operated vehicles. The vacancies available are that of Automotive Embedded Research Engineer Tech Lead, and Automotive Embedded Research Engineer for which engineers with two to seven years of experience may apply. Those selected will be paid a salary of up to Rs 1 lakh a month based on their qualification and experience.
Who can Apply for Vacancies at IIT Hyderabad?
As mentioned earlier, the vacancies are available in the TiHAN unit of IIT Hyderabad for which candidates with a BTech in electrical, electronics, information technology, electronics and communication or computer science engineering can apply. Applicants are required to have six to seven years of experience for Automotive Embedded Research Engineer Tech Lead, and two to three years of experience for Automotive Embedded Research Engineer preferably in the following areas:
- ECU SW development experience in Embedded C.
- Machine learning and deep learning experience.
- Experience in communication protocols like CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, and so on.
- Strong embedded system debugging skills and understanding of hardware schematic.
- Understanding of architecture of multicore and single core automotive microcontroller architecture.
- Ability to write the software requirements, unit specification and Integration test plan.
- Experience in integration of sensors such as ULTRASONIC, CAMERA, RADAR, LIDAR etc. to controller boards such as Arduino, Raspberry pi and JETSON GPU boards, and so on.
