IIT Delhi Launches New Online Course on Project Management

IIT Delhi has launched an online certificate degree in "Project Management: Theory & Practise" through its Continuing Education degree (CEP). According to the official brochure, this six-month (60-hour) online program will commence on 4 November 2023. These online classes will be held from 6:30 to 8 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The application deadline is 15 October. This online course costs Rs 10,000 plus GST (18%).

Eligibility and assessment for IIT Delhi Course

Candidates must be graduates (10+2+3) in any field or diploma holders in any branch of Engineering from a reputable university to be eligible for this program.

  • Candidates must present proof of graduation in a consolidated graduation mark sheet (containing all semesters) to be admitted. 
  • Final-year students should bring their marksheets from the previous semester. 
  • Candidates must produce any government-issued photo ID, such as an Aadhar card, PAN card, driving licence or passport, and a passport-size photo.
  • The program will include midterm and end-of-term reviews, which can be held online or on-campus at IIT Delhi. 
  • The faculty will decide on the evaluation criteria. 
  • It will involve tests, projects, case studies, and assignments, among other things.

A certificate needs a minimum of 50% in the evaluation parts and 70% attendance in lectures and tutorials consistently. Only an e-certificate issued by CEP, IIT Delhi, will be delivered.
