IIT Delhi Launches New Online Certificate Program in Business Management: All You Need to Know

IIT Delhi has invited applications from interested candidates for a new online certificate program in Business Management, which aims at helping participants develop a holistic understanding of in-demand management concepts, strategies, and frameworks to fast track their managerial career. The six month long program will be conducted by IIT Delhi’s Continuing Education Programme (CEP). The online program consists of mix of lectures, tutorials, real-world case study discussions, and a capstone project.

The course will be delivered by leading IIT Delhi faculty, and the program coordinator is Dr Harish Chaudhry who is an Associate Professor at the Department of Management Studies of the institute. He has BTech from IIT Kanpur, PGDM from IIM Bengaluru and PhD from IIT Delhi. The professor has also worked with leading organisations such as Dunlop, NIIT and RAAG Systems.

The course aims at enabling participants with knowledge on principles of management, functional concepts in marketing, finance, operations, and human resources, and strategy and leadership skills through the following topics:

• Operations and supply chain management.
• Digital marketing, and digital transformation.
• Business analytics.
• Creativity, design thinking and innovation.

Who can Take the IIT Delhi Online Certificate Program in Business Management?

The course is suitable for final year and fresh graduates, professionals and aspiring managers looking to reskill, as well as Consultants, business owners, and entrepreneurs. After online application, IIT Delhi faculty will shortlist the applicants for the program. The higher secondary mark sheet, passing certificate of the diploma, degree, or doctorate, and government-issued photo ID card like Aadhaar card, driving license and so on will be required for the online application process.

Certificate and Other Important Details

Participants who score a minimum of 50% marks in each of the evaluation components and maintain an attendance of 60% at least in both lectures and tutorials will be given certificates from IIT Delhi. Interested students and professionals may apply for the program before 6 April 2021, and the cost of the online training program is Rs 80,000.
