IIT Delhi Invites Applications for Summer Faculty Research Fellow Program, Here’s How to Apply

IIT Delhi has invited applications from interested candidates for its Summer Faculty Research Fellow Program (SRPF) to be held at the institute from 17 June to 15 July 2021. IIT Delhi started the SRPF program in 2008, and faculty fellows from engineering, science, and humanities institutes or colleges may apply for the fellowship. The program is most suited for candidates who wish to pursue a Master’s degree or PhD.

The selected fellows will be guided by a faculty mentor of the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and will get to spend the summer at the institute working on a research project. The objective of the 6 to 8 week-long fellowship is to orient the faculty fellows to undertake research and to also serve as a catalyst for participants considering higher studies at IIT Delhi. The program may be conducted either on campus or online as per the guidelines issued by the stakeholders involved and the Government of India.

How to Apply for IIT Delhi Summer Faculty Research Fellow Program

Regular faculty fellows from engineering, science, and humanities institutes or colleges hoping to pursue Master’s degree or PhD at IIT Delhi may apply for the program before 31 March 2021. The application form may be downloaded from http://cepqip.iitd.ac.in against SFRF 2021. Candidates wll then have to fill out the application form, and then attach all the required documents such as their resume, reserach paper, their publications and so on.

The application forms then need to be forwarded through the Head of the applicant’s institution, and both the soft copy and hard copy of the application will have to be forwarded to hodqipcep@admin.iitd.ac.in and the QIP CEP office IIT Delhi, respectively.
