IIT Bombay Placements 2023: Know the Highest Wage Packages and Top Recruitment Firms

IIT Bombay, one of the country's foremost higher education institutes, recently released a report outlining the 2022-23 placement season results. The survey identified the best recruiters as well as the best compensation packages. According to the study, up to 2,000 students participated in the placements. Companies from various industries made offers to 1,500 people, including IT and software, banking, R&D services, analytics, consulting, and data science. Engineering and technology firms accounted for a sizable proportion of overall recruitment at IIT Bombay, accounting for roughly 30%.

International Offers

According to the study, students from the pre-eminent institute received up to 65 international offers. These positions were in the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. As many as 16 proposals worth more than Rs 1 crore were accepted. According to an official release from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay), a student has been placed worldwide with a record employment offer. The highest overseas wage was Rs 3.67 crore. The highest domestic salary, on the other hand, was Rs 1.68 crore.

The average annual income of selected students was Rs 21.82 lakh.

Companies in the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, and Taiwan offered 65 employment offers to IIT-Bombay students. IIT-Bombay students accepted 16 job offers with annual salaries above one crore. During IIT Bombay placements 2023, the highest foreign and domestic package offered was INR 3.67 crore per annum and INR 1.68 crore per annum, respectively. Furthermore, during IIT Bombay placements in 2023, the average package offered was INR 21.82 LPA.
