IIST Institute Setup by ISRO Invites Applications from Engineers for 7 Vacancies, Salary up to Rs 25,000

IIST recruitment 2019 is being conducted for various research positions. While there a total of 9 positions available, engineers are eligible to apply for 7. Selected candidates would be eligible for a salary of Rs 20,000 to 25,000 based on the position they get selected for. Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), which was set up by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) under the Department of Space, Government of India, is the only university that is dedicated to studying and researching different areas of outer space. IIST actively contributes to ISRO and had recently contributed a satellite to the ISRO PSLV-C45 mission.

Who can Apply for the IIST Recruitment 2019?

According to the official IIST website, there are a total of 9 vacancies available. Engineers are eligible to apply for the following positions: Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Senior Project Fellow (SPF), and Junior Project Fellow (JPF). Engineers of different streams such as BE/BTech in Engineering Physics, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Avionics, ME/MTech/MS degree in Image Processing, Signal Processing, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Applied Maths, or BE/BTech in Geoinformatics can apply as relevant to the project and position available. Candidates cannot be over 35 years as on 12 August 2019, and only Indian nationals can apply. All the degrees need to be in first class.

How to Apply Online for the IIST Recruitment 2019?

Interested and eligible candidates need to apply online on the official IIST website, and no other modes of application will be entertained, says the notification. The online link for the same has been made available on the IIST website, and applications once submitted cannot be corrected. Candidates are advised to upload the relevant mark sheets and the Degree or PG certificate at the time of registering the online application. The last date for the submission of applications is 12 August 2019. Interested candidates are advised to go through the notification in detail before applying for the jobs.
