IIM Ranchi Invites Applications from Students for Competition on RBI’s New Payment Guidelines, Winner to Get Rs 60,000

IIM Ranchi has collaborated with Empower India for an essay competition for college students on RBI’s new payment guidelines

IIM Ranchi is collaborating with Empower India, a New Delhi based leading policy think tank to organise an essay competition titled, “RBI’s payment guidelines on tokenization and its impact on ‘digital adoption’: A critical analysis”. The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Centre for Leadership, Policy, and Governance (ABVCLPG), a multidisciplinary think-tank of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi is organising the competition. The essay competition will be followed by a round table discussion on the topic.

How the IIM Ranchi Competition Will Be Conducted?

The world limit for the essay competition is 1500 words. Some of the other important details of the competition are as follows: 

• The competition will be open to any graduate or post-graduate students. 
• The last date for submitting the entries is 17 June 2022, 05:00 pm. 
• The entries for the essay should be sent to the following email address:  abvclpgcommunications@iimranchi.ac.in.
• Only one entry per person is accepted.
• Essay must be original and unpublished. Plagiarized entries will be rejected.
• Essay must be written by one person. Co-authored essays are not accepted.

Prize Money for IIM Ranchi Competition

The following awards will be given respectively:

• 1st Prize is a prize money of Rs 60,000 for the best essay.
• 2nd Prize is  Rs 40,000 for the 2nd best essay.
• 3rd Prize is Rs 20,000 for the third essay.

Prof Aditya Shankar Mishra, Chair of ABVCLPG, expressed his excitement for the competition and is looking forward to extensive inputs from students on the topic, said a statement from the institute.
