IBM brings emerging Tech to Developers at IBM DeveloperConnect

On June 17 in Bangalore, IBM will host its largest ever developer meet, IBM Developer Connect. Nearly 10,000 developers are expected to take part in the event, both in-person and through Live Stream. IBM Developer Connect is designed to help them gain a year’s worth of learning in a day.

Developers will also have the opportunity to listen to experts from IBM and celebrity speakers and tech gurus like Tanmay Bakshi, a twelve-year-old developer and entrepreneur, Simon Wheat croft, an accomplished runner who uses Runkeeper on IBMCloud, Amy Wilkinson, author of “The Creator's Code” and Prashant Bhuyan, Co-founder and CEO of startup Alpha Modus.

IBM will also kick off a contest hosted on Stack Overflow on June 17th. The purpose of this contest is to encourage developers in India to share their expertise and knowledge of IBM Cloud technologies. Developers will have the opportunity to enhance their reputation, earn badges and win one of three grand prizes, which includes a 3D printer or Oculus Rift.
