IBM announced the launch of a new state-of-the-art IBM Center in Mumbai. This center will help clients accelerate their digital transformation journey across industries, with a focus on banking and financial services organizations as it is located in Mumbai. The new IBM Center will provide clients with a collaborative and digitally immersive environment to deliver customized briefings, workshops, technical enablement sessions, POC’s, testing/ benchmarking. It will also offer design thinking experiences to solve user problems at the speed and scale of the modern digital enterprise.
The 11,500 square foot Center has been designed keeping in mind the dynamic requirements of start-ups, ecosystem partners, corporate and government clients. It will host more than 70 live solutions across industries, customized for individual clients using IBM technologies such as Cognitive solutions, IoT, Analytics and Blockchain.
The Center is focused on highlighting Cognitive Computing solutions that will drive innovation and enhance a client’s digital transformation. The Mumbai Center will feature various client experience zones such as the Solution Zone, IBM Garage and Sandbox.
At the Solution Zone clients will get to witness working prototypes of solutions across industries like Financial Services, Distribution and Telecommunications and experience solution functions when deployed. The IBM Garage will host ecosystem partners who can work on specific development projects using IBM platforms. The IBM Garage will help them ideate solutions rapidly with a possible development of prototypes to validate them – following an agile development methodology. Sandboxes are customizable industry solutions that can be modified to meet client requirements and conduct proof of concepts across industries.
