My own expectation is that people will not use the palm or the mobile, it

still is going be the PCs because PCs are comfortable to use and can deliver

value. So I think there is going to be a combination. It’s not going to be one

or the other. Everything is going to co-exist in building the Net-centric world

that we are talking about.

On the future of the PC

I see the PC as continuing to be the driver of the Internet and as we are

moving towards more and more Net-centric computing, you will find the PC

becoming the fulcrum of the entire move towards e-business.

Impact on personal life

Barring absolutely runaway programs like KBC, nobody switches on the TV in

our house. Everybody is using the PC. I think we are living a lifestyle in our

work, which was never imaginable before the PC.
