It was time then to test the waters in the corporate world wherein he chose to follow IT - his inherent passion. He began his career with Asian Paints and spent a couple of years at other start-ups before moving to Evalueserve in the year 2000. It was a critical time. Within the company he rose to a CIO's role and drove the company's IT to the next level. From being a member of the IT team to leading the entire team, he has undergone different phases.

The young CIO also has a personal side - he wants to read books, play games, and spend time with his 2 children. He's as passionate at home with his family as he is at work. He is also part of the corporate cricket team at Evalueserve. "I admire all aspects of life and feel that everything is important. Until I wasn't a father, I had a different notion of life. But now I spend time with my family and try to strike a healthy balance between life and work. I also devote time to my hobbies such as playing cricket, reading books, etc," says Jain.

Since he has achieved the CIO position at a fairly young age, he now aspires for the next level. He also wants to realize his ambition and become an entrepreneur sometime in the future.
