The ongoing slump in the telecom sector continued to take its toll on this
telecom software player. As the market continued to be sluggish, the company
pushed BPO activities, but ended up earning a miniscule 1% of its total revenues
from its BPO venture. In fact, doing maximum justice to its image, HSS drove
almost all of its revenues through IT and telecom segments. To diversify its
revenue stream, HSS plans a major push into the BFSI segment as well.
