HPCL recruitment 2023 for engineers is currently underway for graduate apprentice trainees and technician diploma apprentice trainees. HPCL is a Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. Selected candidates will be engaged at the Mumbai Refinery of HPCL under the Apprentices Act, 1961. While graduate apprentice trainees will be paid Rs 25,000, technician diploma apprentice trainees will be paid Rs 15,000 per month.
Who Can Apply for HPCL Recruitment 2023 for Engineers?
According to the latest notification issued on the MHRDNATS portal, there are 116 vacancies available. Out of 116 apprentice vacancies, 86 vacancies are for graduate apprentice trainees for which candidates with an engineering degree with 60% aggregate marks of all semesters and years in the following streams can apply:
- Civil engineering.
- Mechanical engineering.
- Chemical engineering.
- Electrical engineering.
- Electrical and electronics engineering.
- Instrumentation engineering.
- Computer science engineering.
- Information technology.
There are 30 vacancies available for technician diploma apprentice trainees for which candidates with a diploma with 60% aggregate marks of all semesters and years in the following streams can apply:
- Civil engineering.
- Mechanical engineering.
- Chemical engineering.
- Electrical engineering.
- Electrical and electronics engineering.
- Chemical engineering.
The notification also mentions that only Indian nationals living in Mumbai Metropolitan Region such as Mumbai, Mumbai City, Mumbai Suburban, Thane, Palghar, Navi Mumbai, and Raigad are eligible to apply for apprenticeship training at Mumbai Refinery of HPCL. In addition to that, only those who have completed engineering graduation after 1 February 2021 onwards are eligible to apply for the apprentice positions.
The notification also adds that: “Candidates who have been engaged previously as Apprentice or are undergoing Apprenticeship training elsewhere and have an apprenticeship contract with any other organization under the Apprentices Act, 1961 on the NATS Portal are not eligible to apply. In case of any existing apprenticeship contract with any organization may lead to rejection of the application.”
How to Apply for HPCL Recruitment 2023 for Engineers?
Eligible applicants will have to first register and get themselves enrolled on the NATS portal, and then log on to the portal using their user name and password. On the home page, candidates will then have to click on “establishment requests” and select the option “find establishment” from the drop down menu. Candidates will then have to look for Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited and click on option “Search”. Applications will then have to be submitted by clicking on the apply button under the establishment name Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited – Mumbai Refinery before 12 February 2023.
