Starts patent filing process
The Bangalore-based technology lab of Honeywell Corporation added 1,000 employees on its rolls to grow to over 2,600 employees. Into its ninth year of operations, Honeywell slowly began the process of filing for patents. Honeywell's Bangalore SSL (Software Solutions Lab), which services Honeywell customers worldwide in automation, aerospace and control systems filed for 54 patents over the past year, and is among the top 10 MNC development centers in India. Honeywell is committed to the continued growth of its automated process management and control systems business in India. The Bangalore SSL handles total solutions for Honeywell customers worldwide in aerospace, automation and control systems. Moving for consolidation, Honeywell Asia Pacific Inc., will later this year, acquire the Tata Group's 40.62% ownership interest in process management and control systems provider Tata Honeywell Limited. This will finetune Honeywell's control technologies services targeted at the Rs 500-crore Indian electronic security industry, in which the company is showing huge interest.
