Holi 2020: SHAREit announces contest, Winners to get cash prizes

Holi 2020, the festival of colors, is here and content discovery, consumption and sharing application SHAREit has announced a competition for its users. The application, for the first time, has announced a contest offering numerous cash prizes to users who manage to collect SHAREit’s 4 cards with various Holi wishes - Healthy, Obedient, Love, Ideal.

To collect these cards, the users would have to complete tasks by watching videos on the activity page on the application and subsequently sharing the page. For each task completed, users get a chance to win a card and upon collecting all 4 cards, the users will be eligible for a cash prize. A total of Rs 30 lakhs will be given away through the course of the contest.

In addition to the contest, SHAREit will also create a Holi channel in the app, which will host a wide range of colorful short videos on Holi. These videos would be available in multiple languages – Hindi, English, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi, Malayalam and Marathi.

Commenting on the initiative, Karam Malhotra, CEO SHAREit (India) and VP (Global) said: “We have always aimed to make the SHAREit application more engaging for its users. In the past we have observed that Indian users have responded positively to SHAREit activities. With this Holi giveaway we wish to make the festival even more celebratory and hope to bring to our users more such contests and giveaways.”

The contest will start on 8 March 2020 and ends on 15 March 2020. Users can participate in the contest by installing the SHAREit app and by clicking on either of the following options: SHAREit homepage banner, homepage float icon, SHAREit app splash and pop-up banner.
