It turned out to be the second fastest growing storage vendor in the country.

Obviously, SAN was the biggest growth area, with Hitachi boasting of especially

blue-chip telco clientele like BSNL, VSNL, Idea Cellular and Bharti amongst

others. It also identified SMEs as its future growth driver in India-accordingly

it brought Acer into its TrueNorth Channels Partner program to position the

Thunder 9500V series modular storage systems in the entry to mid-level SAN

market. HDS also launched its NAS blitz with the rollout of its TagmaStore range

of storage platforms.
