Launched Hexaware towers, a new 65,000 sq. ft facility in Chennai
Riding on its Peoplesoft and multi-domain expertise, Hexaware saw good growth and revenues. The focus over the year was on upping its domain capabilities, and to that end it partnered with Peoplesoft and launched a new center in Bangalore to cater to Peoplesoft's customers spread across the world. Another partnership with IBM-Rational also assumes significance. This partnership enabled Hexaware to set up a dedicated center of excellence specializing in Rational technologies. IBM-Rational, for its part, trained and certified Hexaware employees in Rational products and solution methodologies. On the global front, the company launched its European development and delivery center in Germany. Meanwhile a look at the segment-wise break-up of revenues reveals BFSI as the top revenue puller with Rs 204 crore. Geographically speaking, 68% of the export revenues came from the US and about 26% from Europe. The company executed its projects 64% offshore and 36% onsite.
