Hewlett Packard Enterprise, American multinational information technology company based in Spring, Texas, United States, is reportedly all set to acquire Juniper Networks. This move is apparently being planned as artificial intelligence powered networking has become a priority for organisations. The deal is being finalised at 13 billion dollars, according to various media reports. Hewlett Packard Enterprise was founded on 1 November 2015 after splitting from the Hewlett Packard Company. HPE is basically involved in servers, storage, networking, containerisation software and consulting and support.

Juniper Networks is a notable company that is known for its routers, switches, network management software, network security products, and software-defined networking technology. HPE, according to reports, is acquiring the company to gain from Juniper’s expertise is artificial intelligence networking. If talks don’t fail, the deal could be made public this week. However, there is no official word from Hewlett Packard Enterprise or Juniper Networks on this acquisition. After the reports of the merger broke out, the shares of Juniper Networks have risen by 20 percent.
