The HDFC Bank website has been down due to a technical glitch for two days as of now. The issue seems to have affected the HDFC Bank website, NetBanking and MobileBanking app as well. Customers who have not been able to carry out transactions have taken to social media to bring this issue to light.

Customers are sharing a screenshot of the site that shows the following message when they log in: “Dear User, The NetBanking system is busy processing heavy load from currently logged in customers, request to try after some time. Thank you for your cooperation.”

“I am unable to access HDFC bank mobile banking app, unable to make my credit card payments through any payment gateways from HDFC bank net banking option yesterday. Kindly resolve this issue on priority,” says a user Vishnu Prakash JJ on Twitter.

Some other users are fuming over not being able to pay their bills on time due to the technical snag. “What is happening with your banking system. Y can't I login, if my bills delayed who will bare your nonsense charges like late payment , non payment fees? (sic),” says a user Chethan Reddy.

HDFC Bank, however, is responding to user queries saying they are working on the issue. “We apologise that the resolution of the technical glitch is taking more time than anticipated. Our experts are working round the clock. While some customers are able to transact using NetBanking and MobileBanking App, a few may still be facing intermittent issues. Needless to say this is not the experience we would like our customers to have and we sincerely regret the inconvenience,” says a tweet from the official account of HDFC Cares.
