Gurgaon Police creates online Law and Order community to improve governance and safety

In an effort to enable Citizen Oriented Policing, Gurgaon Police has established an online Law & Order community for City of Gurgaon. This community enables citizens of Gurgaon to get and stay connected with each other and Gurgaon Police to share common issues relating to Law, Order, Traffic in Gurgaon and find resolution.

Using the platform, Gurgaon Police will also be able to update/alert citizens on crime related information, tips, local police initiatives as well as work with communities and RWAs on neighbourhood watch/community policing.

“Gurgaon Police is committed to engaging with the citizen community we serve through in person interactions as well as the social media”, said Navdeep Singh Virk, Commissioner of Police, Gurgaon. “We are pleased to enable the Law & Order community as it empowers any citizen to alert rest of the community in an emergency or raise common issues and bring them to the notice of both police and the community for resolution."
