New Update
Google Search

Google is incorporating generative AI in Search to make the user experience more organic and intuitive with India-first and India-focused improvements. Through Search Labs, it is implementing the Search Generative Experience (SGE) in India as an opt-in experiment. Both Hindi and English are accessible for this feature.

Google exhibited this at Google for India in December of the previous year

Users can quickly switch from an English result to a Hindi one by hitting the language toggle button. You can also listen to the response using Text-To-Speech by tapping the' Listen' button. Google plans to introduce voice search shortly as well.

According to Google, this innovative new technology can answer wholly unanticipated categories of queries. To help people sort through and make sense of the information available, it is claimed that this will change how information is organised. Users of this new tool will be given an AI-powered overview of the most critical data to consider, along with links to dive deeper. Google thinks this will be beneficial, particularly for new internet users who frequently feel overwhelmed by the volume of information available online. Finding an answer more quickly will ease their discovery process, Google says.

Like, "Which is a good beginner trek in Himachal and how to prepare for it?" In a normal situation, one would divide this question into smaller ones, sift through the information available, and begin to piece things together. They can answer a query like "How to take great photos on a trek?" or write a specific follow-up inquiry when generative AI is integrated into Search. People can naturally learn more about the subject they're investigating in this conversational approach. To encourage users to continue their exploration more naturally, context will be carried over from question to question.

How to register with Search Labs?

SGE will be available on Chrome desktop, the most recent Google App for Android and iOS, and as an experiment in Search Labs. People can opt-in to try it out and give direct input to the teams developing it, as access to it officially starts today. To learn more, press the Labs button in the Google app or Chrome desktop and go to labs.google.com/search.
