Google Invites Applications from Indian Students for Student Researcher Vacancies, Stipend to be Given

Google has invited applications from students in Bengaluru, Karnataka for student researcher vacancies. The search giant says that the Student Researcher Program’s primary objective is to foster academic collaborations with students through research at Google. Selected students will get to work with Google research scientists and engineers on research projects.

Apart from that, a stipend will also be paid to selected student researchers. Unlike internship opportunities, students researchers will not be bound by duration, time commitment, and working location. Instead, they will get to work on projects that are open-ended and exploratory without any mandated deliverables, adds Google.

Who Can Apply for Google Student Researcher Vacancies?

Students who wish to apply for the vacancies will need to have the following qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience contributing to research communities or efforts, including publishing papers in conferences or journals.
• Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages such as C/C++, Java, MATLAB, Go, and Python among others.
• Ability to design and execute on research agendas.
• Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
