Google, 91springboard to Empower Female Entrepreneurs in India

Google has recently announced a partnership with co-working community hub 91springboard in order to support and empower female entrepreneurs in India. With this partnership, 91springboard and , will provide monthly trainings, seminars and events to support female founders.

As a result of this partnership, the 91springboard office in Jhandewalan, New Delhi is now a Google Lounge where female entrepreneurs can pitch ideas, brainstorm and focus on their business. “As a member of the Google for Entrepreneurs partner network, 91springboard community members will now have access to work from 35 member spaces globally, and have the opportunity to participate in programs Google runs for startups, such as Demo Day Asia in Shanghai this coming September and Google for Entrepreneurs Exchange,” said Rashmi Dhanwani, founder of the Art X Company and member of 91springboard.

The partnership especially aims at fostering female entrepreneurship in Tier 2 cities. Rajan Anandan, MD Google India, said that he felt ‘privileged’ to be surrounded by women entrepreneurs and that by 2025-30 women will be the drivers of the economy with original ideas. He also said that he was very excited to launch a startup space for women founders in India.
