Gionee launches Marathon M4 smartphone priced at Rs 15,499

Gionee has unveiled its Marathon M4 smartphone in India. The company announced that the device comes with a 5000 mAh battery that can deliver a massive 50 hours of talktime and 440 hours of standby time.

The phone is priced at Rs 15,499 and available in black and white variants.

Specs are as follows:

* Android 5.0 Lollipop powered by a 1.3GHz quad core processor and 2 GB RAM

* 16 GB of onboard storage with an option to extend with a microSD card upto 32 GB

* 5-inch HD display, 5 mega pixel front facing and 8 megapixel at the back

* Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Micro-USB with OTG support
