Follow UsAt the CIO CHOICE 2014 Awards recognition announced last week, Forrester Research, Inc. (Nasdaq: FORR), a global research and advisory firm, was awarded the honor for Business Technology Research. The prestigious CIO CHOICE Awards in India rank the brands that are recognized by ICT vendors, determined through an independent CIO voting survey from across the country on product performance, customer satisfaction and continued customer service.
The Business Technology Research Award was presented to Manish Bahl, Vice President and Country Manager for India, Forrester Research. "The Age of the customer demands research that can empower CIOs to win, serve and retain customers and Forrester is the only global research firm providing customer insights to CIOs at the intersection of technology and marketing," Bahl said. "I am excited and encouraged to witness Indian CIOs moving beyond IT research to Business Technology (BT) research to become customer-obsessed leaders. BT research is increasingly becoming the antidote for CIOs in the age of the customer."
The CIO Choice Awards is organized by the Centre of Recognition & Excellence. All vendors must be successfully nominated by CIOs prior to becoming eligible to participate in the CIO survey conducted by the Centre of Recognition and Excellence as part of the Awards selection process. The Centre collated more than 1,200 votes from CIOs and IT heads for the 2014 awards and Forrester Research took home the only recognition for "Business Technology Research" at CIO CHOICE 2014 Red Carpet event which had 300 CIOs in attendance.
