This is particularly visible in regulated sectors such as financial services, telecoms, and large global enterprises, where resilience and auditability are non-negotiable.

At the same time, agentic AI is accelerating a cultural shift inside organisations. As agents learn from accepted decisions and begin to evolve business logic, routine judgment becomes commoditised. The risk is not just workforce displacement, but the erosion of organisational distinctiveness if human expertise is sidelined. The more sustainable path lies in human-led, AI-amplified models, where agents handle speed and scale, while people focus on critical thinking, oversight, and strategic differentiation.
